Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: Oldham
Salary: Circa £50k - £60k
A local Metal Fabrication company are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team.
Continuous Improvement Manager – Job Role:
* Create, Implement and drive lean manufacturing initiatives onsite
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
* Train and mentor staff on lean manufacturing principles
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve operational issues
* Work closely with management to define and achieve strategic objectives
* Lead projects to reduce waste and improve quality
* Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
* Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to lean manufacturing principles
Continuous Improvement Manager – Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate MUST come from the Manufacturing Industry as a Continuous Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:
* Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng
* Experience in implementing and improving lean principals in a manufacturing site
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and train staff
* Can work under pressure and is keen to learn and is proactive
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting1
