4 contract engineers to support a large Security Access Control System (SACS) audit at Imperial College London, starting Monday 5th January 2026 and running for approximately four months. This is one of the largest Lenel access control systems in the UK, and split across a diverse set of buildings. This job will require a fair bit of walking.
The work is non-invasive inspection and capture equipment audit. In simple terms, the engineers will be expected to:
• Attend each door, panel, hub or enclosure
• Apply a unique barcode label
• Record what they see using a webform / laptop (which we will provide)
• Identify and classify access control components (lock type, reader type, Lenel/Aperio hardware etc.)
• Mark the location on a PDF drawing (hand mark-up acceptable)
• Move to the next asset
We’re looking for engineers who ideally already know the Imperial estate, or at least have strong experience with Lenel OnGuard and Aperio hardware. Good familiarity with access control door furniture is essential.
