Contract Kitchen Designer
Location: Kent
Salary: £30,000
Working Days/Hours: Monday-Friday - 8.00am to 4.00pm
The Opportunity
KBB Recruitment are representing a well-established client looking to appoint a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer. This role involves working closely with housebuilders and developers to deliver functional, stylish kitchen designs.
Key Responsibilities
*
Create kitchen layouts using design software
*
Adapt designs based on client feedback
*
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and architects
*
Stay updated on kitchen trends, materials, and finishes
*
Recommend products to suit client needs and budgets
*
Support the sales team with design proposals and quotations
*
Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
*
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar preferred
*
Minimum 2 years’ kitchen design experience
*
Proficient in Compusoft Winner, AutoCAD, or similar software
*
Strong spatial planning and design skills
*
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
*
Knowledge of building regulations and industry standards
*
Full UK driving licence required
