We are recruiting for a Contract Manager to join a well-established organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector. This role would suit someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing service delivery, and leading a motivated team to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction.

Duties of a Contract Manager
Working within the Customer Operations team, you will oversee the day-to-day management of key client contracts, ensuring smooth service delivery and commercial success. Reporting to a senior operations leader, you will be responsible for:
Managing a portfolio of contracts and maintaining close working relationships with clients.
Leading a small team to deliver consistent and high-quality service.
Monitoring operational performance and driving improvements where needed.
Acting as the main escalation point for any service or delivery issues.
Working with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination across logistics and customer functions.
Identifying opportunities to add value and enhance client satisfaction.
Ensuring all activity complies with company policies, including Health & Safety and Quality standards.
Skills and Experience of a Contract Manager
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience managing client relationships or contracts within logistics, distribution, or a related field.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
It would be advantageous if you also had:
Experience working with KPIs and service metrics.
Knowledge of operational systems or CRM tools.
An understanding of continuous improvement principles.
