Conrad Consulting are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Leicester, seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Transport & Infrastructure team on a contract basis.
This is a superb opportunity to lead the delivery of high-profile infrastructure and development projects across the UK, working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of highways, drainage, levels, earthworks, and external works schemes
Oversee the production of 3D models and hydraulic drainage designs using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage/FLOW
Liaise directly with clients, contractors, Local Authorities, and other stakeholders
Review and support the preparation of S278, S38, S104, S106, and S185 applications
Contribute to the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and related technical documentation
Mentor junior engineers and manage project tasks, ensuring quality and timely deliveryRequirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in civil infrastructure design
Strong proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and drainage software such as MicroDrainage or FLOW
Thorough knowledge of UK design standards and adoption procedures for highways and drainage
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead technical delivery
Experience working across both private and public sector projects
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Additional Information:
Contract role
Competitive hourly rate: £48-£54/hour, depending on experience
Flexible working arrangements may be considered
