Contract Technical/ Solution Architect - Outside IR35 Hybrid working
We are seeking a Technical / Solutions Architect to support a range of integration and testing activities across different systems within the Transport sector. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical documentation, testing, and API integration experience, particularly within transport or ticketing environments.
Key Information
Role: Technical / Solutions Architect
Location: Liverpool / Hybrid
Rate: £525-£550 per day
Contract Length: 8 months (potential to extend)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Arrangements: Hybrid working - on-site presence required twice per week.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in the integration and testing of various transport-related systems, including HOPS and customer management platforms. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, supporting testing phases, and ensuring third-party solutions align with business requirements and security standards.
Skills & Experience Needed
Proven experience as a Technical or Solutions Architect in complex environments
Strong hands-on experience with system integration and testing
Ability to interrogate systems such as HOPS and customer management back-office platforms
Experience with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Skilled in creating and updating:
Test plans and scripts
Technical documentation
Solution designs
Process flows and user guides
Strong understanding of API integrations across websites, payment portals, IVR, and ideally account-based ticketing systems
Confident engaging with third-party vendors and internal teams
