Job Description
The overview of the job as contracts engineer
• Manage contracts.

• Ensure timely close-out.
• Track budget.

• Maintain client relationships.
The main duties as a contract engineer
• Solid management skills.
• Communicate effectively.
• Analyse design documents.
• Review schematics.
• Complete technical submittals.
• Analyse supplier info.
• Manage program updates.
• Track progress.
• Maintain site diary.
• Review quality.
• Implement self-audits.
• Manage contract works.
• Resolve site issues.
• Manage defects close-out.
The ideal candidate will ideally have the following or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3+ in Construction/Engineering.
• Technical Qualification.
• SMSTS/IOSH Managing Safely.
• Relevant CSCS card.
• First aid at work.
• Project management qualification preferred.
• Organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with Document Management Systems.
• SME experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements.
