Job Title: Contracts Engineer
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £45,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Engineer:

Managing and overseeing engineering contracts from initial enquiry through to final delivery
*
Conducting site surveys and client consultations
*
Preparing and reviewing technical drawings using AutoCAD 2D
*
Designing LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems in line with industry standards
*
Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
*
Supporting fabrication and installation teams with accurate and practical design input
Desired Skills & Experience of the Contracts Engineer:
*
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
*
Experience with LEV design and relevant standards
*
Competence in conducting site surveys and reporting
*
Good understanding of sheet metal work and fabrication processes
*
Strong project management and communication skills
*
