Job Description
My client, a main developer is looking for a Contracts Manager for a brand-new flagship scheme in Little Chalfont, Buckingham. The ideal candidate will have worked as either a CM or PM running multiple large volume build traditional build housing schemes with knowledge of NHBC
This role will be covering projects across Hertfordshire and Essex, with the HQ in Essex
Duties,
CM, reporting into the Construction Director
Working with a SM, ASM or a Trainee ASM
Pre-start meetings
Chair sub-subcontractor meetings
Recruitment
Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
RAMS
Full understanding of H&S and ensuring its adhered to
Snagging of sub-contractor work
Conducting meetings with sub-contractor directors
Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
Reporting to department heads
Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractorsQualifications,
CM or PM, working for a PLC, on trad build projects
Experience of running projects simultaneously
New build, residential experience
CSCS , Black card
