️ Contracts Manager (South West Region) Location: Somerset Sector: Residential & Mixed-Use Construction (Housing & Contracting) Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and growing regional contractor with a strong pipeline of residential and mixed-use developments across the South West. As a Contracts Manager, you’ll take ownership of 3–4 live sites, managing delivery teams from pre-construction through to completion. You’ll play a hands-on role overseeing quality, safety, and commercial performance — ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced contracting environment and enjoys the balance of site leadership and strategic oversight. Role Overview As a Contracts Manager, you will: * Oversee multiple housing and refurbishment projects across the South West. * Manage project programmes, ensuring consistent delivery and build quality. * Lead and support Site Managers and project delivery teams. * Conduct regular site visits, ensuring compliance, safety, and performance. * Manage contract administration, aftercare, and client communication. * Report weekly to the Operations Director with updates on progress, risks, and priorities. * Drive operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. About You * Proven background working for a main contractor. * Experience managing multiple residential or mixed-use schemes. * Demonstrated longevity and loyalty in previous roles. * Excellent knowledge of commercial, contractual, and operational project delivery. * Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor teams. * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites (South West).
