Our client, a long-established and respected construction company specialising in traditional country homes, is looking to appoint a talented Contracts Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of prestigious projects across the South of England.

About the Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple construction projects—primarily bespoke country homes—from pre-start through to final handover. You will be responsible for managing site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
This is a key leadership role, requiring strong communication skills, a practical mindset, and an unwavering commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage several construction sites simultaneously, ensuring consistency and high standards
* Coordinate project planning, resourcing, and programming alongside senior management
* Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health & safety regulations
* Build strong working relationships with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure resolution of any issues
* Manage budgets, site reporting, and cost control measures in collaboration with the commercial team
* Represent the company’s values and maintain professional standards throughout all stages of the build
About You
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager within high-end residential construction
* Exceptional knowledge of building methods, regulations, and best practices
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities
* A keen eye for detail and passion for delivering outstanding craftsmanship
* Full UK driving licence
* SMSTS and First Aid certifications preferred
