Job Title: Contracts Manager Location: Leicestershire Salary: £40 - 50k Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Company Overview: Our client is a specialist contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, bespoke furniture fit-outs for luxury hotels across the UK. From five-star suites to premium public areas, their work is a showcase of fine craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the leadership team and oversee the successful delivery of their hotel fit-out contracts. Role Overview: As Contracts Manager, you will play a vital role in the end-to-end delivery of multiple high-spec hotel furniture installation projects. You will ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the exacting standards expected by our clients. This is a client-facing role requiring strong leadership, excellent organisation, and a detailed understanding of bespoke joinery and furniture installation in the hospitality sector. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of furniture installation projects from contract award to final handover Oversee detailed project planning, site coordination, and scheduling Liaise closely with hotel clients, main contractors, architects, and internal teams Ensure all installations meet drawings, specifications, and design intent Coordinate workshop production with site delivery schedules Lead site meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders Monitor site activities, subcontractors, and installation teams for safety and quality compliance Control project costs and work alongside the commercial team to manage valuations and variations Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide effective, practical solutions Maintain high standards of client service and ensure successful project handover Requirements: Proven experience as a Contracts or Project Manager in bespoke joinery or furniture fit-out, ideally within the hospitality or hotel sector Excellent knowledge of furniture manufacturing, installation, and site coordination Strong organisational and time management skills - able to manage several projects simultaneously Confident communicator with the ability to manage client relationships professionally Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, subcontractors, and deadlines Competent in reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings and joinery specs Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites nationwide and occasionally overseas Desirable: Background in furniture, joinery, or interior fit-out (trade or academic) SMSTS / SSSTS, First Aid, or similar site management qualifications Experience with hotel brands and global fit-out standards is an advantage What We Offer: A key role in delivering flagship hotel projects across the UK and abroad Competitive salary and package A stable and growing business with long-term career prospects The opportunity to be part of a passionate, quality-driven team
