Salary: £33.39ph CIS Contract Type: Temporary ongoing Location: Covering Hammersmith & Fulham, West London Sector: Social Housing / Property Maintenance A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and driven Contracts Manager to join a well-established, leading social housing contractor on a temporary ongoing basis. Role Overview: You will be responsible for the management and operational oversight of multiple residential repair contracts, supporting a team of Supervisors, trade operatives, and subcontractors, while working in close collaboration with the Senior Management Team. As Contracts Manager, you'll lead by example and ensure the effective, safe, and budget-conscious delivery of services. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead work stream managers and site supervisors within residential repair services, ensuring high standards of service delivery. Oversee day-to-day contract operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety, service performance, productivity targets, and financial control. Collaborate closely with senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and contributing insight across the wider business. Champion the company's core values, inspiring a positive culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and respect. Act as a mentor and motivator to your team and colleagues, encouraging professional development and supporting succession planning. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, residents, and subcontractors, ensuring a seamless service experience. Drive continuous improvement and implement best practice across all contracts, achieving excellence in line with business growth objectives. Ensure contractual KPIs and SLAs are consistently met or exceeded across all areas of responsibility. Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience in managing repairs and maintenance contracts within social housing or residential environments. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence, mentor, and drive performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for stakeholder engagement. Sound commercial awareness and budgetary management experience. Demonstrable knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance protocols. Passionate about service excellence and improving resident satisfaction.
