Job Title: Contracts Manager - Fit-Out/Construction
Location: Head Office - Greater Manchester (Nationwide Travel Required)

Salary: £57,000 per annum + Company Car
About the Role
Our client are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team, reporting directly to the Senior Contracts Manager. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality fit-out projects across a range of sites nationwide. As Contracts Manager, you will lead the project delivery team, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between the client and the project delivery team, ensuring client requirements are understood and met.
Schedule, programme, and oversee all site operations across multiple projects.
Manage and coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, and client-appointed contractors.
Implement and uphold health and safety procedures with support from the Company Director and external Health & Safety Consultant.
Produce and maintain all required project documentation, including Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
Efficiently manage labour, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective delivery.
Monitor and record site variations and communicate them with the project surveyor.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the fit-out or construction industry.
Proven leadership abilities in managing site teams within fast-paced environments.
Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of delivery.
Adaptability and a proactive attitude to meet evolving client needs.
Demonstrated ability to manage health and safety on-site, in line with company policies.
Exceptional customer service skills.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites nationwide as required.
