Time 4 Recruitment have exciting opportunity for a Permanent Contracts Manager based in Bristol. You will be working with a well-established and highly successful main contractor who specialise in design, build, refurbishment and refit within the commercial sector - Their clients include branded hotels, restaurants and Bars – across the UK As Contracts Manager you we be overseeing a number of new build and refurbishment hotel projects in the South West, with each project due to run up to 22 weeks. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential you have a minimum of three years’ experience as a Tier 1 Contracts Manager. As Contracts Manager you will oversee each project from the very beginning up until handover to the client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Contracts Manager from a Hotel New build/ Hospitality fit out / refurbishment / commercial background - looking to join a highly successful and expanding main contractor. Contract Manager Key responsibilities * Manage a number of projects concurrently across the South West Of England. * Manage several project teams and supply chains to deliver projects to cost, time and quality standards. * Provide a strategic link between the design department, commercial team and site. * Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information. * Act as the main interface with the clients; Engage with the client frequently, building rapport and ensuring you have a clear understanding of their objectives and can cascade this to the team. * Survey sites to mitigate problems and check viability of design. * Ensure each product meets customer expectation in relation to build and finish. * Manage and coordinate sub-contract and direct labour workforces. * Provide labour costing for various projects to determine feasibility and profitability. * Customer relationship management to ensure customer satisfaction. * Supervise and coach staff as and when development is required * Produce reports on job progress and remedial. * Commercially aware with extensive knowledge of all disciplines involved in the construction process including design coordination, quantity surveying and procurement. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships, strong planning and organisation skills. * In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and other regulatory matters. Key requirements * SMSTS is essential. * First Aid * CSCS * Previous Contracts Management or Projects Management experience working on commercial Fit Out, New Build, Hospitality Refurbishment and restorations projects will be preferred.
