Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager / Contracts Manager to join a well-established and respected national shopfitting and construction contractor. This business specialises in delivering high-quality retail fit-outs and refurbishments, working with some of the UK’s biggest brands to transform stores on time, on budget, and to exceptional standards. Projects are fast-paced and often require innovative design solutions, strong planning, and collaborative working across multiple teams.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be Bristol-based but happy to travel nationwide to oversee projects. You will manage two major retail accounts, ensuring works are delivered to programme and client expectations are exceeded. This role will also involve liaising with the design team to influence solutions, working closely with the commercial team on budgets and costs, and coordinating with site teams to ensure delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple retail fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
*
Manage client relationships, ensuring repeat business and account growth.
*
Liaise with design teams, contributing to technical and creative solutions.
*
Coordinate with commercial teams to manage budgets and financial reporting.
*
Ensure health & safety compliance and quality control across all sites.
*
National travel to sites as required.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within retail fit-out, shopfitting, or mainstream construction.
*
Strong organisational and communication skills.
*
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*
Willingness to travel nationally.
*
Understanding of both design and commercial processes within construction.
