Job Title: Contracts Manager Location: North West (Nationwide Travel Required) Salary: c. £65,000 + package Start Date: ASAP Company Overview Our client is a well-established fit out and shopfitting contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects for blue-chip clients including Costa Coffee and Holland & Barrett. With a strong pipeline of repeat business, they specialise in roll-out programmes across the UK. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team and oversee multiple retail and fit out projects. While candidates from an office fit out background will be considered, a shopfitting background is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing 2–3 live projects at any given time (typically valued up to £500k, running 1–8 weeks), while also planning upcoming works. This is a hands-on role involving regular client liaison, ensuring site progress, and maintaining health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee multiple fit out / shopfitting projects simultaneously across the UK. Ensure works are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. Act as the main point of contact for clients, fostering strong working relationships. Take responsibility for on-site Health & Safety compliance. Monitor and report on site progress, ensuring adherence to programme. Complete requisition sheets for materials; liaise with commercial team and buyers for procurement and financials. Support and coordinate site teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Plan and prepare for upcoming projects alongside current workload. Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within shopfitting (preferred) or office fit out. Strong knowledge of retail roll-out projects and fast-track delivery. Ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently. Excellent client-facing and communication skills. Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations. Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel nationwide as required. Based in the North West.
