Head office based in Oldham, although this is primarily a site-based role with minimal office attendance required.

This Contracts Manager - Roofing and Cladding position offers responsibility for delivering multiple projects across Yorkshire, working closely with experienced site teams and clients. If you have a proven background as a Contracts Manager - Roofing and Cladding, you'll be joining a business with a secure pipeline of work, high standards and genuine long-term prospects. This Contracts Manager - Roofing and Cladding role provides a high level of autonomy, whilst being supported by an experienced management team. An experienced Contracts Manager - Roofing and Cladding will enjoy a varied workload across refurbishment, overcladding and new build projects.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity managing industrial and commercial roofing and cladding projects across Yorkshire, with responsibility for multiple live contracts from pre-start through to completion.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for managing multiple roofing and cladding contracts across Yorkshire, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  * Managing projects from pre-start meetings through to completion and handover

  * Planning programmes and coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and plant

  * Carrying out regular site visits across multiple live projects

  * Maintaining excellent health and safety standards on site

  * Liaising with clients, site managers, subcontractors, suppliers and design teams

  * Monitoring programme, quality, commercial performance and project costs

  * Managing project documentation, reporting and contractual administration

  * Resolving technical and operational issues to maintain programme delivery

  * Supporting successful project completion and client satisfaction

Requirements

  * Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within roofing and cladding

  * Experience delivering industrial or commercial roofing projects

  * Strong knowledge of refurbishment, overcladding and new build roofing systems

  * Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  * SMSTS certification

  * CSCS Black Card or equivalent management qualification

  * Strong organisational and communication skills

  * Full UK driving licence
