A fantastic opportunity to work in the UK’s industry-leading independent fire and security specialist company, they are renowned for their expertise in design, supply and installation. My client is looking for a Control Room Operator to join their team at their remote monitoring centre in Blackburn.
Package
£26,666 (rising to £27,452 after successful completion of probation)
Full time | 4 shifts on / 4 shifts off (42 hour week 12 hour shifts) | training and development programmes | generous leave allowance | company pension | Mediash health plan
Main Responsibilities
Managing controlled access to client sites using advanced Video Management Systems
Monitoring and responding to electronic alarm signals promptly and professionally
Delivering excellent customer care through clear and courteous telephone communication
Liaising with emergency services when required, following strict operational protocols
Producing clear, accurate, and timely written reports
Working within a disciplined team environment with a focus on security and service excellence
Knowledge and Experience
A valid SIA CCTV License (Level 2 in CCTV Operations) Essential
Must be 18 years or older Essential
Prior experience in CCTV monitoring and a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills written and verbal
The ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations
A flexible approach to shifts (including nights and weekends)
Professionalism, accuracy in reporting, and a commitment to customer service excellence
