Job Description
We are delighted to be recruiting via our partner and client Control Systems Engineer for their Aramco project for an initial 12 month contract basis (which may be extended). Role is based at our clients offices Monday - Friday in Leatherhead Surrey. The role requires the successful candidate to attend the Leatherhead offices 5 days a week which is non negotiable.
The rate to the worker excluding holiday pay and pension contribution is £50.00 per hour. The role is anticipated to be 12 months possibly longer in duration.
The client will only accept candidates on a PAYE or Umbrella PAYE basis only (no Ltd company) as the role is within IR35.
Our client require a Control Systems Engineer to work within our client’s team on an LNG FEED project.
Candidates must have previous experience on either and Aramco or Petrofac or similar project.
Typically the required competency and skills would have been built up over a 12 year period working for a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end user company.
Candidate requirements are:
Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience.
Contributes to the development of preliminary and final stage Instrumentation & Control (I&C) design deliverables, including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Instrument Data Sheets.
Experienced in working in early phases of the project, especially Concept and FEED deliverables.
Assists in the design of process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
Experience in instrumentation requirements for custody metering requirements standards.
Prepares budgetary requisitions and conducts bid evaluations.
Assists in the development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) and demonstrates working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC61511.
Performs assigned automation-related job functions, including the creation of I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and the specification of instrumentation and control elements.
Interface knowledge of Electrical system and Instrument interfaces and has experience in greenfield onshore projectsBefore You Apply
