Job Description
Controls Electrician
Location: Nuneaton
Salary: up to £35k + overtime and travel
We're looking for experienced, motivated engineers with 3+ years in electrical machine installation. Join a busy, dynamic team promoting a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Install control panels, mains, 24V DC & communication cables
Install cable containment, wire motors, sensors, remote I/O nodes
Terminate field cables in control panels
Wire control panels & equipment (PLC, CNC, PC-based controllers, servo drives, inverters) in workshop
Work from CAD drawings produced by onsite electrical designers
Weekend work and overnight stays may be required
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years in similar role
Strong electrical systems knowledge
Electrical safety awareness
Able to work independently & in teams
Good communication skills
Willingness to work onsite, including weekends and overnight stays
Able to read electrical drawings
