Position: Controls Engineer
Location: Poole (Commutable from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne and surrounding areas)
Salary: £50,000 + Bonus (up to 5%)
Shift: Monday - Friday

Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking to join a business that's investing in automation, innovation, and long-term growth? We're looking to speak with engineers who are looking to join a rapidly growing manufacturer that is putting its Engineering team first! 
You will join an experienced controls/automation team that are at the forefront of the engineering department- with an exciting expansion project you will bring technical knowledge to a wide range of new manufacturing machinery! 

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing electrical, control, and automation support across maintenance, projects, and commissioning
* Responding to faults and minimising downtime through effective problem solving
* Maintaining and improving PLC, HMI, SCADA, and instrumentation systems
* Supporting control system upgrades and site-wide improvement projects
* Driving a proactive approach to maintenance and system reliability
* Ensuring engineering records, asset history, and maintenance systems are kept up to date

What We're Looking For
* Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation or similar
* Strong EC&I background with proven industry experience
* Experience with PLCs, control systems, and automation
* Strong fault-finding and analytical skills
* FMCG or manufacturing experience (desirable)
* Health & safety focused mindset
