Controls Engineer – Reading
£45,000-£55,000
Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leading global automation and communications technology company, providing their technology to multiple clients across the globe! They are looking for an experienced mid-level Controls Engineer to come and join their exciting team.
Main Duties:
* Design control systems using PLCs & TIA Portal
* Play a part in the installation and commissioning of control systems at various customer sites
* Be able to diagnose and fix technical issues, before and after installation
* Adhere to British & International safety standards
Key Skills:
* Experience with PLCs, TIA Portal and Structured Text Language
* Experience with Industrial Communication Networks such as Profibus and Profinet
* Experience with or Working Knowledge of HMI/SCADA
* C# Experience is highly desired
