Controls Engineer (PLC/HMI) | £40K-50K | 1pm Fridays | Leeds
Leeds, West Yorkshire (commutable from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, etc)
£40,000–£50,000 DOE
25 days holiday + BH
1pm finish Fridays

About the role:
This is a varied, full-lifecycle role - ideal for a Controls Engineer who can take ownership of control systems projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for:
* Design & specify electrical control circuits for complex machinery
* Write/develop PLC & HMI software (Siemens / Omron / Rockwell AB)
* Full lifecycle: concepts, safety/compliance, FAT/SAT, documentation
* Commissioning: remote and site (UK & overseas) – short, planned trips
* Collaborate with mechanical/electrical design and projects teams
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience with machinery control systems
* Strong PLC/HMI programming skills (Omron, Siemens, Rockwell/Allen Bradley)
* Ability to manage projects independently and collaborate within a team
* Willingness for occasional travel for commissioning/support (Short Trips – circa 4–5 weeks per year)
