Job Description

My client is a well-established and highly respected law firm in Leeds, with ambitious plans for continued expansion. Due to the ongoing success of the business, they are looking to appoint a Conveyancing Assistant to join their award-winning Residential Conveyancing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has experience within a residential conveyancing environment and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The Role

Working alongside experienced fee earners, you will play an important role in helping the team deliver an exceptional 5-star conveyancing service to clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting fee earners throughout the conveyancing process.
Assisting with the progression of residential property transactions.
Communicating regularly with clients and providing excellent levels of service.
Liaising with estate agents, lenders, referrers and other third parties.
Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within required timescales.
Managing multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
Providing general administrative and conveyancing support to the wider team.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

At least 12 months' experience working within a Residential Conveyancing department.
A good understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
A proactive and positive approach to supporting both clients and colleagues.
A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service.
