Conveyancing Assistant
Are you an experienced Conveyancing Assistant looking to take the next step in your legal career?
We’re working in partnership with a well-regarded, private practice based in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Due to a sustained increase in workload, they are now seeking an additional Conveyancing Assistant to join their growing team. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to support on a range of high-quality residential property transactions in a supportive and close-knit environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting a small, friendly team of fee earners on a busy caseload of residential conveyancing files
Handling a variety of tasks including preparing documents, liaising with clients and third parties, conducting searches, and file management
Playing a key role in helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently from instruction to completion
What we’re looking for:
A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a residential conveyancing support role
Solid understanding of the conveyancing process with the ability to work with minimal supervision on routine matters
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work
Someone who thrives in a collaborative team and is committed to delivering excellent client service
Location & Working Pattern:
This is a full-time, office-based position requiring travel into central Tunbridge Wells. The firm offers a professional yet relaxed working environment and is easily accessible via public transport or car (no parking, but local options nearby).
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary between £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
