Conveyancing Legal Secretary

Salary £25,000 - £30,00 DOE
Full time / permanent
Monday - Friday / 8.45am - 5.00pm
Epsom & Ewell
Parking space 
28 days holiday +closed during Christmas / New Year break

An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary with a conveyancing background, to join our client based near Epsom.

You'll be part of a team of 2 who provide support to 2 Fee Earners with a range of secretarial and administrative tasks on pre-completion cases.

The position involves working full time, five days a week in the office. You'll be a proficient audio secretary, with 6-12mths conveyancing experience (or they can provide support to cross train from another legal area).

Day to day, you will be responsible for:

The point of contact for clients and colleagues on all activities.
Verbal and written communication with clients, estate agents, and third-parties involved in the pre-completion stages.
Drafting legal documents, e.g. contracts, completion statements, and completing property searches; working in combination with fee earners.
Diary management and scheduling, including meetings and appointments - preparing relevant documents as required.
Document management of files, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
Process documents such as billing and invoicing.
LEAP Case Management system and digital dictation is used by the solicitors.This role is available for an immediate start for the successful candidate.
