Job Title: Conveyancing Solicitor  Location: Hertford hybrid based Salary: up to £65,000, dependent on experience Bonus: 10% of salary paid once a year Holiday: 25 days plus public and bank holidays Pension – workplace Benefits – private healthcare, death in service, accrue 1 additional holiday day per year (up to max of 5 days) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Experience Level: 5+ years PQE About Us We are a specialist conveyancing law firm seeking a conveyancing solicitor forming part of a wider group of companies that deliver a comprehensive range of services to residential landlord clients. The Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Conveyancing Solicitor to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services to our landlord clients, particularly in complex leasehold-related transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the firm’s legal offering and support the growth of our in-house team. Key Responsibilities of a Conveyancing Solicitor  •    Act independently on a full range of residential landlord matters including: - Lease extensions (statutory and voluntary) - Collective enfranchisements - Section 5 Notices under the Landlord and Tenant Act - Voluntary freehold sales of houses - Right to Manage claims - Wayleave agreements - Licences and deeds of variation - Freehold purchases and sales on behalf of corporate landlords •    Supervise and mentor paralegals and junior team members, providing guidance and oversight to ensure efficient and compliant case handling •    Review, implement and improve internal systems and legal processes to drive operational excellence and client satisfaction •    Work closely with the Head of Conveyancing, supporting on conveyancing matters when required and contributing to team-wide initiatives •    Play an active role in helping the firm grow its reputation and client base within the wider group and beyond Requirements of a Conveyancing Solicitor  •    UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE, ideally with experience in residential leasehold work and landlord-focused matters •    Strong technical knowledge of leasehold enfranchisement, RTM, and associated transactional work •    Experience working with or on behalf of corporate landlord clients •    Confident working independently and taking ownership of files from instruction to completion •    Experience supervising, mentoring or managing junior legal staff •    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a continuous improvement mindset •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •    A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and a commercial outlook What We Offer a Conveyancing Solicitor •    A friendly, supportive working environment within a close-knit team •    The opportunity to shape and influence how our legal services evolve as the firm grows •    Exposure to a broad range of legal matters across the landlord and property sector •    Career progression opportunities as the firm continues to expand •    Flexible working arrangements can be considered Key words: Conveyancing Solicitor, Landlord/Tenant Matters, Residential Real Estate, Mortgages, Freehold, New Builds, Leasehold, Conveyancing, Property Law, Legal Research, Legal Writing, Law, Legal Advice How to Apply Contact Person: Marcus Stevens Contact Email: Contact Phone: PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL (INCLUDING SPAM FOLDER) FOR CONFIRMATION YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
