Job Description
Are you an experienced Cook or Chef looking for a new opportunity? We are working with one of our valued clients in the London area and are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook/Chef to join their team immediately. Whether you are looking for weekday shifts, weekend shifts, or a combination of both, we have flexible hours to suit your availability.
Responsibilities:
*
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with menus and customer expectations
*
Maintain a high standard of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
*
Work as part of a team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently
*
Ensure food safety and health & safety regulations are adhered to
*
Assist with stock control and order supplies when necessary
*
Contribute to menu planning and recipe development where applicable
*
Provide exceptional service and maintain a positive kitchen environment
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a professional kitchen environment
*
Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
*
Strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
*
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
*
Team player with excellent communication skills
*
Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
*
Ability to work weekends (as required)
Qualifications Needed:
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
*
Food Safety Level 2 certification (preferable)
*
First Aid training (desirable, but not essential)
*
Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment
