Are you a compassionate cook with a heart for making a difference? We have a lovely opportunity for you to join our caring team at a retirement home in Perth, Scotland. This temporary position offers you the chance to bring warmth and joy to the lives of our residents through your cooking.
Position: Cook
Location: Perth, Scotland
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11am to 6pm
Pay Rate: £12.48 per hour
Role Overview: In this heartwarming role, you will be an integral part of our clients, residents' daily lives, heating up meals and preparing lunches and dinners. You will be responsible for basic cooking and maintaining kitchen hygiene, ensuring that our small group of around 10 residents enjoys delicious and nutritious meals every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and heat up meals for lunch and dinner.
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Follow basic cooking procedures to ensure meals are safe and appetising.
Engage with residents, offering a friendly chat while serving their meals.What We Offer:
