Position Details
* Contract Type: Temporary (Sickness Cover)
* Duration: 05/09/2025 - 14/12/2025
* Hours: 37 hours per week
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
* Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at a well-established nursing home in North London. This temporary position is to provide sickness cover and may involve shift work to support our catering operations.
Essential Requirements
* Experience in food handling and preparation
* Knowledge of food hygiene regulations
* NVQ in Catering/Hospitality or equivalent qualification
* Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Team player with ability to work on own initiative
* Flexible and enthusiastic approach
