About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly and capable Cook to join our warm and welcoming tearoom in Dedham. You’ll be preparing freshly made dishes and baked goods in a relaxed, customer-focused setting. The role offers some flexibility, with 3 to 5 days per week depending on your availability and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a selection of brunches, lunches, and afternoon tea items
Ensure food is served fresh, to a high standard, and attractively presented
Support with kitchen organisation, stock control, and ingredient ordering
Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards at all times
Help create new seasonal dishes or specials as neededAbout You:
Previous experience as a cook in a café, tearoom, or similar kitchen setting
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Passion for good food and homemade cooking
Reliable, organised, and able to work calmly under pressure
