Court of Protection Solicitor - Redhill
Redhill, Surrey | Full-Time | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits
I'm currently partnering with a well-established law firm based in Redhill that is actively seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their Private Client team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with experience in Court of Protection work to handle a varied caseload, including deputyship applications, welfare decisions, and statutory wills. The firm prides itself on supporting vulnerable clients and providing expert legal advice under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
What they're looking for:
Qualified solicitor (ideally 3+ years PQE) with hands-on Court of Protection experience.
Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and relevant case law.
Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable clients.
Experience acting as a professional deputy or advising lay deputies and attorneys is highly advantageous.
Ideally, some experience with legal aid and welfare matters.
