Copywriter (German-speaking)
Bolton
£25,000–35,000 + benefits
You can write the marketing copy in German for a range of visual projects, with as much support and as little micromanagement as you want.
You can push your ideas, experiment with styles and have your work seen across print, digital and social media formats. There's also the potential to move into account or stakeholder management with this client - if that's something you're interested in exploring.
And you'll be making an impact in a growing sector at a time of major change, thanks to the upcoming ban on disposable vapes.
You'll be working on projects for a key German client and possibly others across the DACH region.
What you'll do
* Write engaging slogans and adverts that help promote products and services
* Understand project requirements and concepts, and pitch your own creative ideas
* Liaise occasionally with the German client, representing the Marketing Director
* Collaborate with designers and other team members to launch projects
* Take on special copywriting tasks, such as designing a new product launch theme
What you'll need
* Fluency in German is essential – written skills are most important, but speaking in German will also be required as you will be regularly taking calls and discussing ideas directly with our German client
* At least 2 years' professional copywriting experience, though recent graduates will also be considered
* A knack for writing catchy, engaging marketing copy and a good understanding of visual branding elements like layout and fonts
