Location: East Lancashire (Secondary Schools)
Roles: Teaching Assistants / Cover Supervisors
Contract: Full-Time and Flexible/Ad-Hoc Positions Available
Are you a recent Maths, English, or Science graduate looking to take your first step into education? Do you want to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or a long-term career in schools?
Teaching Personnel is working with a network of secondary schools across East Lancashire who are seeking enthusiastic graduates to support teaching and learning as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors.
The Role:
Support pupils in lessons, helping to raise attainment and build confidence.
Lead whole classes in the absence of the teacher (Cover Supervisor role).
Work with subject teachers to deliver engaging and challenging content.
Provide one-to-one or small group interventions where needed.
Gain hands-on classroom experience across different year groups and abilities.
About You:
Degree in Maths, English, Science, or a related subject.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confident, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with young people.
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
