The Role
A strong opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join a high-performing Corporate team based in Nottingham. The role involves working across a broad range of M&A and private equity transactions, along with exposure to national workstreams including cross-border matters, investment deals, capital markets projects, and corporate restructuring assignments.
You'll be part of a thriving corporate practice with access to a diverse and busy transactional pipeline, offering genuine scope to broaden your skills and play an integral part in delivering complex deals.

You'll join a well-established national corporate group known for its expertise, commercial approach, and strong market reputation. The wider team advises on a full range of corporate activity and has a proven track record of working with an impressive client base across sectors such as manufacturing, retail, education, and specialist industries.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
4+ years' PQE in corporate law, with solid experience in M&A transactions (private equity experience is advantageous).
The ability to deliver high-quality technical work and supervise junior team members where needed.
A confident, engaging approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
Strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Motivation to participate in business development, networking, and relationship-building.
A collaborative mindset and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
