Job Description

6-month Contract (with view to become permanent) * £35,000 annually * Office based, City of London EC4 This highly regarded boutique law-firm are seeking an experienced, well-presented and proactive receptionist to join its busy team. The role is highly varied and is office based with hours being typically 9-5 although occasionally there may be the need to stay slightly later if there are any events. Duties will include: * Answer calls, follow-up on messages and be that initial point of contact for the business which will also include visitors to the offices * Have full oversight of the office diary so that meeting room bookings are accurate. * Looking after meeting rooms with the provision of the appropriate AV equipment, refreshments and any other items. * Ordering office supplies and catering * Dealing with cleaning contractors and maintenance issues * Ordering couriers and transport * Helping with events Previous and recent experience of a similar role is required. Applicants will be resilient, adaptable and pre-emptive. A full job spec can be provided at the initial discussion, and interviews will be organised quickly. The role will commence as a six-month contract but there is provision for it to become permanent
