Senior Estimator (Engineering / Manufacturing Sector)
Wigston
£30,000 - £40,000
Mon-Fri 08:30-16:30

Are you an experienced Estimator with a strong engineering or manufacturing background?
We're working with a well-established electro-mechanical manufacturer in Wigston.
As part of their ongoing growth, they're looking for a mechanically minded Estimator who can confidently manage project costings, liaise with suppliers and support the engineering team with commercially sound decisions.
Please note: this role is not suitable for graduates or entry-level candidates. We're looking for someone with hands-on estimating experience with the UK market - candidates must have full right to work without restrictions and we do NOT offer sponsorship.
The Role:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for complex projects, materials, labour and timelines.
Assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Interpret technical drawings and work with engineers.
Source component pricing and manage cost databases.
Ensure all estimations match customer expectations and budgets.We're Looking For:
A proven background in estimating within engineering or industrial manufacturing
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to break down technical requirements
Familiarity with production processes, supply chains and technical specifications.
Clear communication skills and high attention to detail.
The confidence to take ownership of estimating responsibilities from day one.What's on Offer:
