Job Description

The Role
As a Costings Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the precise costings of client specifications. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to produce accurate costings including bill of materials, labour and providing accurate lead times to deliver projects on time.
This is a role that demands technical proficiency with the ability to read and analyse 2D (3D would be ideal) drawings , strategic thinking, and the confidence to take the lead in complex procurement and contract administration processes.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop specifications and assess supplier capabilities

Provide technical input when needed

Monitor and manage ongoing contracts to ensure compliance and service excellence
*
Identify potential design challenges and propose effective solutions

Utilise engineering software and contract administration tools to ensure efficient project delivery
