Are you a counselling graduate or currently studying counselling and looking to gain hands-on, meaningful experience? Academics is recruiting passionate, empathetic individuals to support young people in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) settings across schools and ARPs in Kirklees.

Be a counselling graduate or currently studying counselling/psychology or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs

Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing

Assisting with behaviour management and de-escalation

Encouraging engagement in learning and personal development

Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
