Counterbalance Driver - Cold Store (Days or Nights)
Pay Rate: £13.29 - £14.63 per hour (dependent on shift)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: WF3
Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a new opportunity?
We're recruiting skilled and reliable drivers to join our busy Cold Store Warehouse team on day or night shifts. This is a great chance to secure long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
· Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently within a frozen warehouse environment
· Loading and unloading vehicles and moving stock around the warehouse.
· Picking, scanning, and stacking pallets accurately to meet targets.
· Supporting warehouse operations as required, including manual handling when needed.
· Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
· Following all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures.
Requirements
· A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
· Recent forklift driving experience (ideally within a cold store or food environment).
· Comfortable working in frozen conditions - full PPE provided.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team.
