Job Description
Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver, looking for some temporary work? Are you happy doing physical manual handling tasks as well as being flexible to do all warehouse duties required? If YES, then contact us to discuss the opportunity we have available!
Mayday Personnel is proud to be working with an established and friendly company based in Winchester, which are looking to recruit a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to help with increased workloads over their busy period!
You will be a hard-working and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver, with good attention to detail and have experience of using scanners and warehouse management systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for various duties within the warehouse carrying out tasks from loading and unloading deliveries (up to 25kg), to picking and packing orders for dispatch and operating a Counterbalance forklift in a safe manner.
This is a short term temporary contract with the potential to go permanent if you get on well and the workload allows!
Key responsibilities:
* Picking and processing orders
* Loading and unloading deliveries by operating the counterbalance forklift in a safe and effective manner
* Updating information on the warehouse management system
* Inventory control
* Checking paperwork
* Any other ad-hoc warehouse/forklift duties as required
Key skills:
* External in-date Counterbalance forklift licence with recent experience is required
* A good work ethic and attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-motivated and good time keeping skills to meet tight deadlines
* Previous warehousing skills is an advantage
Reward:
* £12.21 p/h
* Temporary ongoing
Working hours:
* Monday - Friday 8am-6pm during busy periods and 9am - 5pm outside of the peak business period
