Counterbalance Forklift Operator 

£13.85 per hour | Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start | Patchway (BS34)

We're recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a fast‑growing business in Patchway (BS34). This is a temp‑to‑perm role offering long‑term stability, progression and a supportive team environment.

Role Details of a Counterbalance Forklift Operator 

Location: Patchway (BS34)
Hours: Monday to Friday - rotating weekly (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Temporary to Permanent 

Key Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Operator 

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (valid, expired or in‑house licences accepted)
Picking, packing and general warehouse duties
Managing Goods In / Goods Out processes
Using warehouse systems for stock checks, booking in/out and updating inventory
Maintaining racking, stock rotation and warehouse organisation
Supporting manual handling tasks, including occasional heavy lifting 

Requirements of a Counterbalance Forklift Operator

Previous warehouse or forklift experience preferred
Valid, expired or in‑house Counterbalance licence accepted
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious
Basic IT skills, including:o Using tablets and scanners for stock control

o Navigating an ERP system for bookings and inventory updates

o Inputting quantities, measurements and material data

o Completing digital warehouse bookings
