Overview:
We are seeking a skilled FLT Counterbalance and Reach operator to join our client's dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse operations, including materials handling and equipment repair. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our facility, contributing to our overall productivity and success.
Responsibilities:
* Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
* Manage inventory using the warehouse management system to track stock levels and locations.
* Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
* Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.
* Assist with general warehouse duties including organisation of stock and maintaining a clean work environment.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the warehouse.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
* Monday to Friday 7am-3pm (overtime - paid at time and a half on weekends)
* Valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach licence is essential.
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs is highly desirable.
* Strong basic maths skills for accurate inventory management and documentation.
* Ability to lift heavy loads safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of work quality.
