Our client, a global leader in sustainable manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Country Financial Controller to join their dynamic UK leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity to step into the top finance role for a nationally significant division, responsible for driving financial performance and partnering closely with operational colleagues across numerous key UK production sites and a commercial trading arm.

A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
*
Significant opportunities for professional growth and influence within a highly respected, forward-thinking organisation

Be responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations for the UK division, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for both sites and group requirements
*
Partner with operational site leaders and senior management to drive financial performance and achieve strategic objectives
*
Prepare annual budgets, deliver quarterly updates, and support ongoing business planning with insightful analysis and recommendations
*
Oversee compliance requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley controls and the group’s robust governance framework
*
Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
*
Provide expert guidance on capital expenditure, fixed asset management, and working capital optimisation
*
Support the development and deployment of financial systems (SAP), and lead on digital transformation initiatives to enhance reporting and decision-making
*
Deliver clear, in-depth analysis to inform operational and strategic capex decisions across the business
*
Manage relationships and negotiate commercial terms with external advisors, including auditors, property managers, and insurance partners
*
Travel regularly to UK operational sites, building close relationships with colleagues and ensuring a hands-on, visible finance leadership presence

Demonstrable experience in leading finance teams and supporting senior management in a fast-paced, operationally focused business
*
A track record of driving process improvements, embedding best practice controls, and ensuring compliance within complex organisations

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and support colleagues at all levels
*
Advanced financial systems and IT skills, with experience of SAP and group reporting packages highly desirable
*
Proactive, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
