A thriving secondary school in Oldham is looking for enthusiastic Cover Graduate Teachers to join their supportive team. You’ll be stepping in to deliver pre-planned lessons, guide pupils in their learning, and maintain a positive, purposeful classroom environment whenever teaching staff are absent.
📍 Location: Oldham, OL6
💰 Competitive daily rate: £90–£150
🎓 Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in schools (or transferable experience from youth work, coaching, mentoring, etc.)
Strong subject knowledge in STEM or Humanities (e.g., Maths, Science, History, Geography, Religious Studies, English Literature)
Confidence to manage a classroom and deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons
Professional, calm communicator who can build positive relationships
Two education-based references
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Proactive, reliable, and supportive attitude
Recent graduates are warmly encouraged to apply!
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, pre-prepared lessons across KS3 & KS4
Maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment
Encourage positive behaviour and support students to achieve their goals
Provide clear feedback to teaching staff after lessons
