Cover Supervisor
We're looking for confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of mainstream and SEN secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with strong behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting young people in education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be stepping into classrooms to deliver pre-set lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure students stay focused and engaged in their learning.
You'll gain valuable experience supporting a range of pupils - from those in mainstream classrooms to students with additional learning, emotional, or social needs.
What You'll Be Doing
Supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring lessons run smoothly.
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Supporting students with varying needs, including those with SEN or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Building positive relationships and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Assisting with academic or pastoral support when needed.
What We're Looking For
Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills.
Experience working with young people in any setting (education, youth work, coaching, tutoring etc.).
A positive, resilient attitude and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
A genuine interest in supporting student's academic and personal development.
Full-time availability (Monday to Friday).
