General Cover Supply Teacher - Kettering Area
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026
Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-Day, Short-Term or Long-Term)
Salary: £100 - £125 per day (dependent on experience and assignment)
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking confident and adaptable General Cover Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a real impact across different school communities.
The Role:
Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects (no planning or marking required in most cases).
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Following school policies and procedures to ensure consistency and continuity for students.
Providing feedback to heads of department or cover managers as required.
Ideal Candidates Will:
Hold QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Have strong classroom management and communication skills.
Be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to new settings.
Possess an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one through Tradewind).
