A thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Haringey is seeking a confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team on a flexible long term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking for a stable, ongoing position within a supportive school environment.

💼 Role Overview

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  * 

    Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the teacher’s absence.

  * 

    Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.

  * 

    Ensure students remain on task and follow the school’s behaviour policies.

  * 

    Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson engagement and classroom behaviour.

  * 

    Support the wider school community when required.

📌 Requirements

  * 

    Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, or working with young people is highly desirable.

  * 

    Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential.

  * 

    Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  * 

    Ability to confidently supervise classes across different age groups and subjects.

  * 

    Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full duration of the contract.

Secondary School – London Borough of Haringey

💰 Pay Rate

£15 – £17 per hour, depending on experience.

🕒 Contract

Flexible long term
Full-time, Monday to Friday
