Job Description
Are you a passionate and adaptable educator looking for a fulfilling role in secondary schools? We are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the Teesside area, starting in the new year.
Your role:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
Maintain strong behaviour management to ensure a positive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with students and staff, fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere.
Effectively manage time and transitions to ensure engaged learning.
Ideal for those with a passion for education and for those looking to gain experience before pursuing a teaching career.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Cover Teacher, Cover Supervisor, or in a similar role is desirable.
Strong classroom presence and ability to effectively manage behaviour.
Excellent communication skills and adaptability across different year groups and subjects.
A genuine interest in supporting young people in their education.
A reliable and professional approach to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
